Longwood Gardens

Famous Longwood Gardens is located about 30 miles west of Philadelphia. It's a fine place to stop on your trip to the city. 1,050 acres include 20 outdoor gardens and 20 indoor gardens, so you can enjoy a visit in any weather. In fact, the conservatory is one of the world's largest with 4.5 acres under glass.

Outdoors you'll find an idea garden, children's garden (with a maze), a bell tower, rose garden, topiaries, 200-year-old trees, lakes and more. Longwood's fountains are an attraction unto themselves. The main fountain garden covers 5 acres and the highest water jet reaches 130 feet.
